Happy Birthday, A Pink's Park Chorong #Listen2ChorongWi5hes

I'm here to wish my beloved kid leader of A Pink 에이핑크 a happy belated birthday! Her name is Park Cho Rong (Korean:박초롱, Chinese: 朴初珑), better known as Chorong.



She turns 24 in the year 2015 (25 in Korean age). As the eldest member of A Pink, she is put in charge of the group as the leader. I consider her a motherly figure of the group, always taking care of the members and fans. We affectionately call her Rong Mama (literally, Mother Rong) for being a mother of Pandas.



She's 24 now, but I like that she's kinda never grows up. That's why I call her a kid leader besides Girls' Generation's Kim Tae Yeon. Her leadership style? She leads by nagging. Will she turn into a nagging mom? Hahaha.



There are six members in A Pink, and telling one member's voice apart is a challenge for the uninitiated. Chorong's voice is easily recognized with her trademark babyish voice. She doesn't get a lot of lines in songs, but when she sings you'll immediately know it's her.



She has a heart for fans like me. Read how Chorong teared up at a fan signing event.

Happy 19th Birthday to A Pink's Kim Nam Joo #남주4MyLove

It's the birthday of A Pink's 2nd lead vocalist Kim Nam Joo 김남주 金南珠!



My first impression of her during her debut? Wasn't used to her appearance back then. But I noted her for positive energy!



She's called "seducing idol". For that you'll have to look up videos of "Hush" in music shows.



If you're looking for a cute girl, you can consider her! I remembered EunJi would like to introduce Nam Joo to her co-star (in her opinion) and said Nam Joo is cute, back in A Pink's "Tell the Truth".



In the first episode of A Pink News season 1, Nam Joo claimed to speak better Chinese than Na Eun! Hahaha. But why not try speaking to her in Chinese during a fan meet?

Happy Birthday to A Pink's Son Naeun #2Our1Naeun

My bias Son Na Eun 손나은 is celebrating her 21st birthday today!



She's the most visually appealing member of the group, and hence takes up the position of visual of A Pink. She's also holding the position of lead dancer who's important for "leading" dance moves in the chorus part of songs.

Na Eun has also called herself the "centre" of A Pink. Amazingly, the title fits her so well for a few thigns! She is the tallest and having the median age among her members. Won't go wrong if you place her in the centre if you want to take group photos of A Pink right? And since she's also the visual, she's also the visual centre.

Fans had been calling her Son Yeoshin (literally, Son Goddess) for her unmatched beauty.

She's the spokesmodel for Peripera, a South Korean cosmetic brand.



And got featured in pictorials for a few magazines!

She's constantly improving! Although being the visual, she's becoming more and more listenable in her singing. I had a big eye opener when she sang the bridge for her latest comeback song NoNoNo.

She's also an actress! She made her acting debut in The Great Seer but I didn't watch it. After I finished my Honours year, I watched Childless Comfort for her, even though she didn't have much screen time. But after I got back to Malaysia, I can't really watch the full drama but decided to watch cuts of her instead.

Today is Eun Ji day #HappyVirusEunji

Today marks the birthday of Jung Eun Ji 郑恩地 정은지, member and main vocalist of South Korean girl group A Pink. If you are a fan, don't forget to trend #HappyVirusEunji on Twitter to celebrate!



Pronounced in Mandarin Chinese her name is Zhèng Ēn Dì (Zheng4 En1 Di4). When I mention her in a conversation in Chinese my friends will immediately mock her name because it sounds like 'aunty'. Please please please okayyy, next time I hear you mocking her name I will KILL YOUUUUU muahahahahaha

Eun Ji is a very popular name for girls in South Korea. She was named Jung Hye Rim 郑慧林 at birth, but it was said that Jung Hye Rim was not good for her mother (you know all those feng shui reasons concerning names!), so she changed her name to Jung Eun Ji at secondary school.



As the main vocalist, she is a talented singer. I call her one of the best main vocalist around compared with other groups, because she's the only idol to sing the ad lib while dancing and smiles when hitting high notes!



She has dreamt of being a vocal trainer just like her mother. But she changed her direction to become an idol singer after she passed an audition for A Pink. Indeed she picked the right direction!

She only trained for 6 months prior to debut (Wow!!!!).



This Eun Ji is actually a tomboy by nature.



And hell, she amazed me with her acting skills in Reply 1997. Hearing that it was a sensation I spent my time marathoning the drama after I finished my Honours course. Her wins for Best OST (for the drama) in many music shows were well deserved!

She hails from Busan. After debut she kept her Busan accent (her company didn't ask her to correct it). Her accent was the bomb in the drama earning her the title of Satoori Idol. But as she took on roles that required speaking in the standard accent she worked her way hard through it.



Eun Ji is now 20 years old. Happy Birthday!

Jonathan's birthday surprise take #2

We were to gather near Jonathan's house. Val was gonna pretend that her close friends were coming to celebrate birthday for Jonathan, so we just went into his house and SURPRISE!

There's another birthday surprise for Jonathan Lim!

Just a quick recap of happenings on Sunday!

Went for morning service of church, Pastor Russell Evans decided not to deliever a sermon for this session so instead we just worshipped. The band taught us a new song! It's called "The Revelation Song", its lyric and tune depict the sound of heaven. But.....

I sense I've encountered a familiar thing. What's this?! A deep search revealed Stefanie Sun's 'chanting' song. The key and tune sounded alike! That Chinese pop song sounded so much like religious chanting in the beginning to the extent it was dismissed as "rubbish song" wtf.

At night, mounted a birthday surprise for Jonathan Lim at his place! That was a take 2 for his birthday. After that, I had dinner with Ching Chung at Vietnamese Grill Bar.

It's Yee Hooi Day!

I was rushed into a bedroom right after I arrived at her house. My friends were waiting for Yee Hooi's return, with anticipation. The bedroom was devoid of photons, light from the surronding Melbourne CBD was the only source of illumination. At some point we were chatting loudly.

Cue to act, she entered the house. I took a stance for papparazi mode. She opened the door of her bedroom and we yelled "SURRR-PRISEEEE!!!!"


She immediately recoiled. What a nasty surprise!
