The heat was ON, many teams had dramatic improvement compared to past years. The competition has improved and a new benchmark was set! Not only the top 5, I think many teams gave worthy performances. The competition was really full of surprises as many traditional powerhouses were outperformed. Cyrens astonished the crowd with their continuous and clean routine, they rise from a nobody to glory! Stompers and D'Starz did an amazing job to surprise as well. Mickeymitez, the team you can't ignore, made a stunning debut, good job!
For the first time, Shirtliff, the team which won the most title and a top 5 regular, didn't make it. What a sad day for Shirtliff, on the other hand this tells us that we're now in a new era of inter school cheerleading, a new generation of powerhouses is rising up and the degree of improvement of new teams! Dynamitez's ability to stay in the top 5 tells us that they're improving to stay relevant in the competition. Good job =)
